Invasive Species Removal Project

A collaborative initiative of concerned environmentalists in your community

All That Grows and The GardenPath Gardening Company have come together to create an Invasive Species Removal Project to enhance the ecological integrity of our local landscapes through ecological restoration.

What Are Invasive Species?

Invasive species are alien or exotic plants, animals and other organisms that have been introduced into a natural environment where they are not normally found and where they negatively impact the environment, people or the economy. - Government of BC

Our Focus:

Safe removal and disposal of all classified invasive species on Vancouver Island and surrounding islands.

Through partnerships with organizations, local community groups and individual property owners, we aim to remove classified invasive plant species that inhibit the growth and success of our local plants, animals and ecosystems. We aim to provide services that give these ecosystems and their communities opportunities to thrive in their restored and natural state.

John Seale with The GardenPath

For two and a half years I have been co-owner of a small gardening company called The GardenPath, completing standard gardening tasks such as mowing lawns, leaf raking, weeding etc.

As a recent graduate of the University of Victoria with a BSc in Environmental Studies and Geography, I have a passion for ecological restoration!

Working for LifeCycles, a local food-security non-profit gave me experience in orchard care and maintenance, as well as propagating plants in LifeCycle’s GreenHouse.

Volunteering for Swan lake on and off for 11 years as well as more recently volunteering with Victoria Green Teams gave me hands-on ecological restoration know-how.
